We desire to go places Jesus would go to reach people Jesus would reach.
Journey Church exists to lead people on a journey of transformation in Jesus. We recognize God’s heart for all people in all places. We want to align our hearts with His. Our goal is to fulfill the mission given in Matthew 25.
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’”
- Matthew 25:35-36

LOCAL
Central Oregon shall be saved! We are asking for the Kingdom of God to come in Central Oregon as it is in Heaven. We believe we will see revival in Central Oregon on 3rd St, in the prisons and for the least of these!
JOURNEY DEER RIDGE

In 2023 God opened the door to Deer Ridge Correctional Institute. God has continued to move in mighty ways to the extent that we have been able to provide a full Journey church campus experience in the prison. Journey Deer Ridge (JDR) has weekend services, small groups and release connections to help those leaving prison establish a new life in the local church. We have developed a Journey church on the inside, so that when the time to be released happens, there is a church family on the outside to steward continued transformation in Jesus!

Beautifully Broken
We partner with Beautifully Broken, a prison ministry that works with women inside Coffee Creek
Recently we have had the opportunity to expand into Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (CCCF). In 2024, a ministry called “Beautifully Broken” was born at Journey Church which allowed us to share the love of Jesus to women by the power of our testimony. Through worship and the recognition of God's power, mercy and faithfulness, lives are being transformed!

Guerrilla Love
In Guerrilla Warfare, an army ambushes an enemy when they least expect it, using the resources they have, even when their resources are scarce. Adopting a metaphor of war may not be the best thing for a value, but we did it! At Journey, Guerrilla Love means surprising people with love when they least expect it, and sometimes when they least deserve it. It’s understanding that we don’t need to have all the resources in the world to change the world (1 John). It’s living out the ways of Jesus in tangible ways, big or small! We love because God first loved us (1 John 4:19).
