Church isn't a place we go to one day a week. Church should be the people who become like family to us, the friends we make as we live out our faith in our everyday lives. A life that is shared with others and Jesus is a powerful life. There is something meaningful about real fellowship, when someone cares for our souls. These are the kinds of friendships we want to establish and build up in our Small Groups.
We are a church of small groups including Bible studies, sermon based discussions, and even fun interest type groups! While we always want to see discipleship taking place, the spiritual depth of these groups will vary greatly. It may be a weekend watercolor painting group that simply discusses a devotional. It could be people who can’t wait to dive deep into a study of Romans. Or anything in between.
